Atari Teenage Riot at Bumbershoot was probably one of the more eventful shoots I've been too. There were dozens of photographers all trying to get shots in a short period, and everyone was clamoring over one another for the best position. At one point the band stopped playing, thanked us, then had us all come in groups. Those who could stay to the end were rewarded with an awesome show and great shots.
I was able to take some great photos over the years shooting at bumbershoot and I'd love to one day go back. Some of the best were the crowd. The young-fresh-faces enjoying one last blow-out before summer's end.
Charles Bradley was one of the most gracious performers, and I'm honored to have been able to not only take his photos but thank him for putting on an awesome show.
The Experience Music Project in Seattle is a fantastic building with a couple good venue spaces. This one in particular, dominated by a hundred foot tall led screen, was amazing.
